Hi Folks,

This is my first post to this Forum so pardon my lack of knowledge. I have a 2003 Marauder with about 5K on the clock. I am the second owner and have had it about two years. It is bone stock. I want to pep it up a bit. Intersted in spending around $2K on upgrades. Would someone please give me some idea as to the best bang for my buck? Chip, tune, 4.10's, air filter, exhaust, etc. I live in NE Ohio so I am interested in vendors/providers for the upgrades that have a good rep. Thanks much for your time.

PS- I am a former Lincoln Mark VIII guy. I miss my 93!!

A blower is the best bang for your buck but 2 grand will leave you far short. I'd say get a tune (about $400), 4.10 gears (about 300) and a 3k or 3500 stall torque converter (about 750). You can use the rest of the 2 grand you planned on spending on istalling the gears and TC. These mods would def wake your car up.

Along with what's been said, a water pump is good to free up some horses, Stewart water pump is great and keeps the stock look (150), or go electric and get the rest of the stable.

Also if you're looking to stay Naturally Aspirated for a bit throw some Steeda Under Drives on it (190)

and also if you want to really hear as well as feel try upgrading the exaust with full exaust system from Kooks, though they will set ya back a bit to the tune of approx. (2200) Though you can break it up by just getting headers and mufflers and deleting the second set of cats. But go with what ever the pros say on this though.
