Just wondering if anyone knows how much a dyno run costs from Sutton. I bought a plenum and I'm going to port and polish it. I'd love to do a before and after dyno run to see what, if any gains, this is worth to see if it's a worthwhile mod for other owners. I checked their website but no info was available. If know here knows, I'll just call.

i'd just call if i were you...got in touch with them this morning, $1500.00 for 4:10's, k&n induction, and base sct tune. does that sound right to you? hopefully by 21 0r 22 of this month i'll have it installed, need to save a couple more dollars.

Is that price for the purchase of 4.10's and install, or just installation of them? Seems a bit on the high side, considering shops around here will install a set of gears for less than $400. A dyno tune around here too would run you about $300-500 depending what you have done. And the K&N kit is only $220 roughly.

Price includes parts and labor for (410's k&n and sct base tune)...still too high? Or if there are any trustworthy mechanics that won't !@#$ up my marauder in the Chicago area, let me know.

Me too. Does the price includ the SCT hand-held unit along with the tune?

That's not too bad if that is with gears and installation.

That's a decent price. Figure 400 for the tune at most places (if it includes the handheld device), 400 for install of gears, 350ish for the gears/parts themselves and whatever the K & N costs. You buy the gears from a vendor and contact BradleyG. He has a friend that can do gears for 300 bucks, does a great job (did mine). A dyno tune from Darrin would cost you 275 (wont get a handheld device) or you can use DR or Lidio for the excal2 (400 bucks, you can install yourself). You could also buy the K&N from a vendor and put it in yourself (not very hard). You could save a couple hundred if you went that route.

Raudermaster, I know a dyno tune is expensive. I dont want a tune, just a run to see what, if any, gains a ported/polished plenum would give.

I was there the other day, they really are good guys.
If you are looking to dyno the car for Power Number changes, May I suggest High Speed Performance in Mokena.
You can do a back to back dyno here at a fraction of the cost.

Cool, thanks Zach. I'll give them a call when I get the plenum all good to go. If anyone is interested, here is their website.http://www.highspeedperf.com/
