What is the difference between purchasing a set of the Cool Blue bulbs rather than a HID Kit???? If u just want the look of the newer luxury cars???

Those "cool blue" bulbs give incandescent bulbs a whiter appearance by coloring them blue. HID bulbs are generally mercury vapor and run at about 25,000 volts. There is not even a shade of comparison.

IIRC they also burn out within a short amount of time because they get hotter than the typical "white" halogen bulb. Just save your money and go HID's. I'll never go to halogen's again.

In my experiance with "Cool Blue" The visibility was not as good as the conventional bulbs....and when I went to Silver Stars I thought that was the best thing....then I was visiting with Wes one weekend and I saw the HID kit he sells....I told him I have to get those...so in a couple of weeks I will be ordering them from him and a couple of real guages.

HID's all the way....I was on the fence about these for a while but when I got them I was very pleased. Now I just need to get some HID's for the fog lights....
