I searched and read all the posts about squeaks, but I just could not believe
that two little rubber hood isolators would eliminate all my squeaks...Sure I fiqured it would help the hood, but it sounded like I had squeaks from the front to the back...
"W R O N G ... A G A I N" (It helps to say it in a Maxwell Smart accent)...
I now have no squeaks....period...
Eight bucks and a little change... wow what a difference...
Thanks again Marauder.net

I got one package of 2 isolators...Part No. N804384-S... They listed for $4.50 each but they sold them to me for $3.50 net...so a total of $7.00 before tax...I would have paid $50.00 if I'd known how much difference they would make...:D

Both my MM and the GM have the squeak. I'll be doing the felt pad mod tomorrow!

We are on the same timetable - last week dealership took care of mine "squeeks" gratis while in for the 75K checkup. Feels like a new car - didn't realize how bad it was getting. :D

Those little rubber feet are amazing. On my Mustang Hatchback they fixed years worth of squeaks when a friend pointed out they were adjustable.

Where did you buy them from?

Where did you buy them from?
FORD dealer parts department.

Here's my post from January 2007

Picked up the hood bumpers today and installed them. Will report out tomorrow if I notice a difference in the squeekage. :o

Ford Part Number -N804384-S (comes in a package of two for $8.40). Seems a little pricey for two little rubber bumpers -- but WTH -- its driving me batty. It's embarrassing too. :o

So far, so good on the way in to work this morning. I even tried out a couple of the "rough" spots on the roads to give it a test for squeeks. Seems to be working.

I installed the side isolators a couple of years ago (got them directly off the assembly line at Ford's Michigan Truck Plant - same ones used on Expedition/Navigator). I also added sticky backed felt tape to the hood above the corner bumpers and then soaked it with thick silicone. I have not had one squeak since.

I lost my original hood and left fender in an accident this January and the first thing I did when I got her home after being fixed was install a replacement side bumper and sticky backed felt tape to the hood.

After having constant squeaking before, I have had none since doing these mods.
