Are there any of these out there? Maybe made by Hayes or something?

Avoid Haynes manuals...many of the sections in their manuals are very generic and are also frequesntly wrong. There's a lot of stuff missing, too.
Best to get the factory service manual, sometimes referred to as the BRB (Big Red Book)...go here (http://www.helminc.com/helm/product2.asp?class%5F2=FCT&mk=Ford+%26+Lincoln+Mercury&yr=2003&md=Marauder&dt=Shop%2FService+Information&module=&from=result&Style=&Sku=FCS1219103&itemtype=N&mscsid=HFCFLXM7FES49NMW4QSEKLU 8D6TH2NH1).

Damn, I paid $25 for the 2003 GM/MM service manual off the bay, the same week I got the rotunda tool on ebay. Guess I did particularly good...

Well then you are the perfect person to ask if there's a difference between the Helm or the ford workshop manual. is there?

I found this site pretty helpful. You can get subcriptions in various degrees to suit you and printout what you need instead of carrying the whole book and not worry about greasy pages.

Well then you are the perfect person to ask if there's a difference between the Helm or the ford workshop manual. is there? No. HELM is the "authorised vendor" of Ford factory workshop manuals. They are one and the same.

I am curious if these helm manuals list part numbers as well?
I am stuck with a local dealer who I cannot trust (spent too much time today at the parts counter being told there is no such thing as a 32 valve 4.6L in my "grand marquis"...after all...that's what the computer says when you plug in the VIN number...)
The local parts dealers charge prices that make me want to buy parts from the worst of dealers stateside with a 20% markup... (for instance, 6 quarts of royal purple, an oil filter, an air filter, and two fog lamp bulbs came to a staggering 260.00....NO I AM NOT KIDDING...that was NAPA by the way)
anyways, I am now a veteran of rockauto.com and autopartsgiant.com but manytimes they don't have the best of descriptions or pictures.
a manual like this would be great for me if it also listed part numbers to go with it.
thanks!
be good!

Curt,
No the factory manual doesn't give full part numbers, only the middle part of the number (call the basic part #)
I would still pick one up, I have bought manuals from ebay seller blackhatauction (http://stores.ebay.com/Lorie-and-Jeff) otherwise known as Lorie+Jeff they are very reliable, and have good prices. Sometimes they have alot of the manuals, keep checking back with them if they don't have it when you are looking.
Here are a couple tips when searching with them:
search their store using 2003 or 2004 Crown Victoria (won't come up when using Marauder)
Once you have the page with those manuals it's easiest to change the sort to lowest price 1st. They often have multiple auctions of the identical item with big difference in "buyit now" prices.
Happy hunting
If you should need anything from the manual I can email you the attachments as I have the DVD Ford manual.

So the manual says on the cover '2004 Ford Crown Victory/Grand Marquis' for the Marauders?

Yep, there are additional sections for Marauder specific repairs.
