Housing for lighter and gauges

My dealer just sent me a new housing. It is the housing that holds the lighter and 2 gauges. Im replacing the original one due to some fading. Can someone give me advise as to how to replace this part. I have noticed a lot of members have modified that particular area due to modifactions they have done to thier cars, so I'm assuming there is some hands on experience here about it. Any advise from all the pro's here would be great.

No tools needed. Grab the "wings" and pull down. It uses alligator clips. Once the sides of the pod are released, put the shifter in "D" or "1" for clearance, and rotate down and forward. It's kind of a PITA, but just keep jocking it around and it will come all the way out.
