it seems that when I pull into driveways and hit them at an angle,
I hear a thump from the back end. I think its either the tires hitting the fender wells or the back end bottoming out.
I was thinking about doing the springs, but with driving all over the Los Angeles area, I am a bit concerned about lowering the car even more. I think it would look sweet a bit lower, but if its hitting at stock height....it must hit all the time with the front and rear adjusted.:coolman:

I have expeirnced the same issue. I crawled under my car to check everything. It does not appear to be a tire to fender issue. It may be an axle to bump stop issue as the car has around 2 inches clearance. This would be decreased once the car has been lowered. There are several manufacters that have low profile bump stops available. I also believe that this topic has been discuss in these forums and no fix has been found. you may try to do a search on this topic.

A question to anyone who has lowered their cars: Have you had any clearance issues in relation to the rear axle and the bump stops?

Mine has been lowered about as far as practicle, no noise or unusual clearence issues. Maybe I'm lucky. I think I have seen similar threads, can't remember outcome.
