Would this be something for our cars? is it true? will it help on supercharged and is it just like the $69.95 supercharger?
Anyone know anything about this?
Also is this a fuel filter?

Think there is a problem with the link. I thought about trying it out from reading, sounds a lot better than other things out there. Not sure it would last as long as they make it out to.

Trucks! installed this in an '06 Ram 2500 Cummins TD and was going to post results when they got a few tanks through it. I believe stock (except for tires, and exhaust I think) it averaged 20.1 mpg, and they were hoping for higher with this in place. I mean, it could work, but then again, they get paid to tell us it works.

They wouldn't lie to the viewers, would they? It's not like there's a Fitch commercial during every single break in the powerblock... Oh... Wait...

I would love to see some real world testing of this product as anything to help with gas mileage - especially after I love next year and go back to 80+ miles round trip each day - would be great.
Then again, keeping the Crown Vic with no car payment and 22-24 mpg highway would probably be more cost efficient than getting a new car, having a car payment, but better gas mileage...
I thought someone on here had tried this or installed it at one point. At least it is a "bolt-on" kit:

Does anyone remember "Bio-Fuel"?
when it started getting big and people starting trying it, cause it claimed the same BS, and then the gov. shut them down cause the main ingredient was TOILET BOWL CLEANER

Your not talking about bio diesel are you?
I dont see how its hard to claim that powerblock had a favored test towards the fitch fuel system when they do show you the dyno results. I saw it on tv last year, and the one they are doing on trucks last week.
Someone try it then, if it dont work out well put it on ebay :)

Well that's what I'm saying, most of those shows just "tell us" that is works and everyone with deep pockets goes running to the store and buys it.

no, bio-fuel, little caplets you drop in the tank, they smelled like alfalfa, I knew a guy who tried selling the junk. I never used it!!

I have had the fitch unit on my M.M. for approx. 800 mi.
first test a 360 mi run , cruising at 75-80 m.p.h. - 21.6 ,m.p.g . second test mostly city driving, 19.5 mpg on 93 oct. with heavy foot. third test,
91 oct. city driving ,same foot 19.3 m.p.g.
performance by s,o,t,p. seems the same. at this rate $0.10 a gal. savings
it will take close to five years of my nor. driving for the unit to pay for itself.
is it worth it ?it`s your call. the hwy. mileage is the same as before the install.

Hope this helps

I wonder if it improves the octane level if it would let us without 93 octane gas to run 91 octane gas but with a 93 octane tune? Or 89 as 91 would be nice at times too.
(then I read the thing again and it says it does, but the tests they ran didn't seem to test that)

I am running 91 oct. on the 93 oct tune . performance feels the same!.
next test will be to run 87 oct on the 91 oct. tune, will be awhile as i have a full tank now. have to run most out and try 5 gal. if bad results, 14 gal. of 93 oct. brings me back over 91 . av.
keep you posted F.J.A.

If Horse Power TV is to believed - no. They've done a couple dyno runs using it, and their numbers showed an improvement in both HP/TQ and fuel consumption.
Taken with a grain of salt, of course.

I guess my reply did not come through I am now running 91 oct. on the 93 oct. tune . the car seems to run the same. here in Florida , . in my area we have 87/ 89/ or93 so i must mix to get to 91 oct. when this tank is used , iwill try stright 89 oct. and keep you posted.. if this works i will then try 87 oct. on the91 tune and see how it responds. might make it down to 87 oct. who knows?
I will not sacrifice performance at any level, at my age it`s all i`v got

So wait you put so much trust into this device you're willing to run 87 octane on a 91 octane tune?
Will Fitch reimburse you for a new motor?

At this stage of the game , i know enough about pre ignition / or as its now called detonation / engine knock , not to load the engine when i hear or feel the ping. i will add a sufficient amount of higher octane fuel to assuage any harmful effects.
just my opinion , but i think we run a greater risk of damage not addressing the # 7 & 8 cooling mods, for those who have not, M.S.I.!.
P.S. I may have bought snake oil, it`s not stupidity ,it`s optimism.
GOOD LUCK

Even if that works, mpg wise, what's about any bad side effect on long term reliability...?

all i have done is in the quest for knowledge, when i am thrue i will continue to run my M.M. on the highest octane available as i tend to be hard on my cars.
i just like to know where my parameters are . thanks for your concern .
from my experience i would not recomend the "fitch" unit for our M.M. . the benefit
does not justify the $$$

Always interesting to see what a mod does. Some of us are already running 87 octane. This might be the thing that keeps them from killing their Marauder.
Every little bit helps. A $178 for something that boost MPG a couple points, adds a tiny bit of power and eliminates the bad gas effects, is great. I would love to get 19 MPG city.

Who would risk doing this???
