Illss(MM.net member) is giving me some slicks, that I'll try on a set of CPVI steelies.
they are 24 3/4" tall 245/45/17
What is the effective gear ratio I will be running?
I have 4:10's

Running 4.10s w/ the tiny 24.75 slick will be like running a 4.74:1 ratio w/ the stock 28.6 tall rears.
That's if I did the math correctly.

If you can, get a tune to corrected to the new revs per mile.
Normal tune file with my drag radials did 14.06
Correct revs per mile tune did 13.72
they are 24 3/4" tall 245/45/17

Where did you get 24.75"? Is it the loaded height provided by the manufacturer?
245/45R17
hanging diameter of ~25.68"
loaded diameter of ~24.91"245/55R18 (stock rears)
hanging diameter of ~28.61"
loaded diameter of ~27.75".To calculate your effective gear ratio, you can compare the stock and new diameters as follows:
effective ratio = stock diameter * actual ratio / new diameter
For example, using loaded diameter:
effective ratio = 27.75" * 4.10:1 / 24.91" = ~4.57:1
See here for the diameter calculations (https://www.mymarauder.com/wiki/index.php?title=Tires#Revoluti ons_per_Mile), and let me know if you have any questions.

If I run a tenth better than my best, I'd be happy with that.
With all your Marauders, would one of them be able to travel out to Byron for some Drag Racing?
Didn't think so.........:baby:

well, the slicks are 17" and my wheels are 16", I measured wrong.
Now either I have to get drag tires for the steelies or 17" wheels for the slicks.

I came across my old drag radials off my impala but theyre on 9c1 wheels and are nitto DR's tall an wide .....ill get the size but dont know if this will do u any good without 15" wheeels.

I bought my Enkei's for <$100 each, which is cheaper than you'll be able to get 16" drag radials. You can get Cragar Soft 8 wheels in the right size for about $50 each on Summit.

Got the 13.3 on street tires, Thanks Zack!
Must have been your preminition, that got me there.
the 13.3 was not a one off, three consecutive runs at that ET.
Two new (first timers) also pedaled the Maller to 13 sec runs.
How was the ****ywhiopped project weekend Zack?
