Power Adjustable Pedals Question

This may be a difficult question to answer. I am curious as to how much "adjusting" the pedals should do when you hit the switch. mine works, I just don't know if they are adjusting to there full capabilities. Seems very short. I do not recall my 04 MM pedals, but I do remember thinking, is something wrong?? I took a look down there today, but decided not to start messing with it. Any possible ways of explaining this to me would be helpful.

"The adjustment allows for approximately 65 mm (2.5 inches) of maximum travel."

I just had mine replaced. It seems the brake pedal assembly is the one that jams up.

I recently noted that the pedals in the 03 have a lot more travel than the pedals in the 04. I have not been of the mind yet to crawl under the dash and look more closely.

Ever since a member posted that their pedals got stuck in the wrong position, I have been scared to touch it.

Mine have been stuck for quite awhile now. They still move, but barely. Used to move noticeably more.
