Finally got to replacing the bypass actuator that was jerry rigged as a temporary fix.
I put it off cause I thought the blower had to be R & R'ed.
My mechanic buddy was able to install it without removing the S/C.
He said, it was the fuel rail that was in the way.
Now I can hammer down in good concience.

The part "bypass actuator"
has been revised in the Trilogy kit.
The mounting bracket is slightly different, requiring the use of different mounting holes to the blower casing.
If you look at the side of the blower housing there are several holes in a circle pattern.
WE clocked or rotated the actuator to keep the lever in the same relation as the original part.
Using the same holes as the original part , kept the boost at or below 4 psi @ WOT.
The blower was in bypass when it was supposed to be in boost.
