I bought some and I noticed in some previous threads that people weren't using the alterater pulley and I was just curious why, is it an upgrade to the old one, thanks, Sean

The pully on the alt. is clutched and the one in the underdrive kit isn't. If I remember correctly they state in the instructions not to us the alt. pulley with the MM setup. reguardless, there is no size difference in the two.

Yep,
No size difference = No performance difference, so don't waste your time and effort on swapping the alternator pulleys.

Also, I believe the alt shuts down at WOT so the pulley wont help you on the track at all.

One plus out of this: you can use your stock belt even with the pullies installed.
