Wow. Yeah it will be bare and you will still have to paint it. I just went through this when I was looking at getting an OEM rear bumper cover. I ended up having a collision shop repair the small cut in it instead of replacing the whole thing.

I would be looking at www.car-part.com (http://www.car-part.com) for a used cover. If you are lucky, you can find a black one and just bolt it on.

I have one thing to say about painting bumpers, flex agent, baby!!!

Not only flex angent, but also keep the millage as low as possible. These bumpers are extremely soft and poorly supported, and if you put tons of coats on top of OE paint will definitely spiderweb at the edges over time.
