What mileage is too high to install a Trilogy supercharger on a Marauder?

If the car had regular maintenance, runs good and has no abnormal noises, I would have no problem with a car over 100K.

Is there a member here who has one installed in a MM with over 100k?

I'll have to check with Chuck. I believe we had one in the upper 80K range.

I agree with Carfixer
if the car has been maintained well and not beaten too badly...No funny noises from the engine...etc
Then Supercharge that beast thats hiding in there
I just helped a friend supercharge his marauder with like 130K on the clock
Go for it

On a similar but different note, at what age do you plan to stop having sex at? Indeed, a very silly question.

Yeah, that's me, with almost 130k on the clock and it still melts the tires off the car.

I think I'll start slowing down about 130 or 140 or so.

Oh, but mine isn't a Trilogy, so in that regards, it's all in how you drive it.

An S/C does not in itself increase the peak load on an engine it only makes the duration of the peak load longer.

I would think that any S/C that increases the engine's HP output from 260 RWHP to 400 RWHP along with a corresponding increase in torque...
would HAVE to increase peak loads on an engine.....:dunno:

Assuming no increase in RPMs, as in same red line, what we are increasing is the average pressure over the entire storke of the piston.
Peak pressure us reached after only 20% has burned.
Think of the combustion process as a fuse of different diameter through out it's length that burns w/ different speed and intensity. An S/C has a thicker thinnner part than a non-s/c.
Think about it we are increasing the RWHP power from 240 to 450+ and people are driving many, many miles. Thats because the peak loads may have only increased 10-20% well with in the range of what the motor can handle.
