Would be nice to have one of these in the stable beside the Marauder. Wonder if Reinhart could install this motor in a Marauder. I am looking to replace my odl and tired Engine this fall:D

Your Marauder engine can make more power than that Mustang engine already. A built engine from DR would make more power than that.
remember that is crank or bhp. rwhp x 1.2 = bhp.
500 rwhp x 1.2 = 600bhp.
For the cost, you could get a better engine made. I'm sure that Mustang engine would be expensive.

A Procharged Marauder with a stock long block makes near the same CHP on a fairly conservative tune.
Mine: 456 RWHP (SAE corrected) * 1.21 for drive train loss = 551.76
Greggash, stock long block with a Vortech: 455 * 1.21 = 550.55
John Nero, stock long block, PC: 457 * 1.21 = 553 + 65 nitrous = 618
I'm not impressed. we could do the same thing for far less money or have waaaayyy more go for the same money.

True, but the 'Stang has more of a "ohhh ahhhhh" factor to it that most people will see to go ahead and purchase it. The motor is already built and forged, so slap a set of TT's, Twin screw it, whatever you want to throw at it and it will make some impressive numbers.

With the numbers listed below and a bunch of people with many miles on the Marauder this leaves me wondering? Does a new 4.6 4v and Supercharger make sense!? What are we talking here really in $$$$$ $6000 for a good charger plus install/long block
Does Ford racing make something in the $12,000 range that can bolt in without many headaches??
Just asking question as I don't care if it's the original 4.6 that gets put back in this Autumn:flamer: The wine of a Charger is great but can we get 500 RWHP NA on pump gas? I would be happy with that.

Saw a black one down in Bend, didn't impress me that much. Looked kinda bulky and a bit out of proportion. Also, the rear facia is recessed..very subjective IMHO.
