Parents showed up early for dinner, had to finish quickly, not our best work. Also found that two year old bottle of Ice had yellowed somewhat. Still seemed to work, tended to require more wiping off than last time. Got to get a new bottle before next time. Heck it's been since Nov 2006.

I am not that happy with the pnotos, I need Oldekid to shoot them next time! :)

The pics are dated two months ago, I brought you rain back then. :oDunno who is doing it today.

Sadly, they are both filthy this week. Bird poop, tree crud, lots of dust dust dust.

Sadly, they are both filthy this week. Bird poop, tree crud, lots of dust dust dust.Oops! :o Silly me. I was enjoying the shiney cars, and totally overlooked the big yellow dates in every pic at the bottom right. As far as the last time it rained here. . . I dunno, I can't even remember.

I don't think you need my help in shooting your cars. The pics look great. Dang, it must be nice to have two of those things sitting in the driveway.

You must be easily distracted by large, shiny objects.

It was getting overcast and looking like rain by the time I got to take photos. I wanted bright sunlight, dangit.

Wow and you found time to ICE the MMs, too !! ;)

Pics look really good. Could be that you are using TOO much ICE if you have trouble wiping it down. The polish only requires a couple drops to do a section. More than that causes the wipe down issue. I have been using the ICE Spray detailer more than the polish recently.

Those shiny cars inspired me to go to pepboys and buy the ice wash, claybar, spray detailer and the polish, can't wait to try em out, I might have to wait a while, forecast says showers everyday for a week, ughhh!!

Which one? The Black one, or the Blue one?

Nice job, BTW. I can see where your camera flash went off in every pic.

I can see where your camera flash went off in every pic.He did indicate that it was getting overcast and looking like rain. He probably needed the flash to get a fast enough shutter speed to prevent camera shake.

That is a good catch though Dr. :)

I recently used the new Turtle Wax ICE on my dark blue metallic Mercury Milan. Very impressed with the ease and application of the ICE. Good stuff. Will use it on my Marauder next for sure.

I used ICE on my BLUE last time, it was so slick oxygen slid right off, she got BLUE-er  I see more BLUE pics than that other color, a little prejudiced are we? ;)

She didn't like the snaaaaaaakes at first, but now she does. They may come off at some time. I was impressed with how shiny the snake was after I Iced it so I took a photo. :o

Yes, I did only use a few drops of Ice at a time, my problems wiping off were likely due to the Ice being a couple years old and no longer clear looking in the bottle. It had been in the utility room exposed to Florida heat all this time. Didn't have time to go and buy some fresh. Only had a few hours to run the cars through the carwash (which isn't close to home) then get them back home and get polish on them.

If we had had more time they would both have gotten another coat of Ice polish or Ice detail spray.

The Ice is really amazing stuff considering I don't do anything other than hitting the carwash every couple weeks. The blue was last polished just before MVIV in November 2006.

The blue's front end had been repainted prior to our wedding in July 2007 (so it was already pretty shiny), but the roof and trunk lid top needed a little extra help. They were the only parts that got a second quick coat. The black was fairly shiny when we bought it 12/2007 and had had a fast coat of detail spray while we were at a car meet (which got rained out of course!) prior to this full Ice polish treatment.

Well, I have always wanted a black one. The wife really loves the black with black leather seats. Sometimes she even lets me drive it.
