Very Interesting. Here in NJ there are alot of misunderstandings about old cars. I have regular plates on my 74 ranchero and 88 vette, however they have collector vehicle status and are exempt from Regular State inspection. I merely go to the inspection station every 2 years, they check that the odometer is working, and that the car has not be driven more than 3K miles per year. Then I receive my Inspection sticker wwhich is triangular and says collector vehicle on it. I see no advantage to QQ plates or anything else. I have both vechicles insured on a collector policy for under 400.00 per year.
