Why are you selling it?

Check the ebay auction listed then look at his feedback. Seems he sold a Mustang but didn't deliver the title. Doesn't sound like "our" type of people.

If anyone is truly interested. I'm local, interested, and law enforcement. I'll look at it, if its a scam I doubt he'll meet me.

Gentlemen, this is no scam. I am a small personal dealer and I have just been getting into the EBAY thing. I sold that mustang in question to some asshat that left me bad feedback because he thought 2 weeks was WAY to long to wait for his title. The auction says 30 days or less per the state of OHIO for the title. The feedback is about to be removed any minute now, per netneutrals.com I can set an appointment for anybody to come and see this car if they like. It is no scam, this car is the real deal and is available at the above price. If anybody would like any more info, don't hesitate to call me at 440-670-4197 -Chris.

I talked with Chris last month and he seemed very legit. If I didn't get a good deal on my Marauder, I definately would have been looking at this one.

Did you end up getting that car out of...Indiana was it? Glad that worked out for you. If you bought it at the price you told me about it was a steal.

12k is gonna be a hard sell. 8-10k seems to be the magic number on high mile MMs.

I am in the car business and I can tell you that you just can't find these for 10..........you will never find one for 8k unless it is a total rat. Wholesale value is higher than both of these figures.

I am in the car business too, and i know for a fact our dealership wouldnt pay more than 8k for a vehicle like this (still a very clean example).

Also, ive been involved with this board for some time. Using this forum purely for its classified section is wrong IMHO. There are vendors here that pay annual fees to sell their goods and services. Most forums even have a post quota for selling in their classified section.

Since you are clearly a dealer, i dont believe you should have the right to come on board just to make a profit. We are all here because we LOVE the car. Im not mocking your sale, or even saying its not worth 12,500. All i am simply saying in TODAYS MARKET, it will sell between 8-10k. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. If you're in the business long enough to realize that, then you should know better.

Yeah...as a linger longer here I'll agree.

Once we've discovered you are a dealer / vendor and not part of the group...this thread will whither away.

Guys i did talk to Chris about buying the car as a driver for me but bought a G8 GT instead. Chris was very good to work with. i bought my black MM with 71000 miles on it less than two years ago for a tad abouve what he was asking but my car had mods and was in near perfect condition. Maybe the price is a little high but he has to make some money to. All the whole salers you will talk to loose there a**es on these cars because they are hard to sell. The only thing that bothered me about the car was no floor mats and thats not good because the last time i went to get all new floor mats for the marauders last fall the parts guy said this would prolly be the last time. I think Chris will treat u right or at least in my experence with him.

whatever my friend. If you are in the car business, then you are familiar with the term, "rough book" and it happens to be $9750. That is a "wholesale" value, and at least in MY area, you can't touch a special car like this for anywhere near rough book, and you are lucky if you can pick up a car like this for average book. As a matter of fact, this car is priced cheaply at CLEAN WHOLESALE value. In my book, anytime you can retail a special car for a wholesale value, you are selling at a good price. I don't even SEE any Marauders available on EBAY or anywhere else that are cheaper than $12,500. also, I make my money wholesaling cars to other dealers........I buy myself nice drivers every couple of months, then I sell them. I am not making a big profit on this car, I'm just getting it out so that I can replace my driver.

And on that note, I'm dropping the price to $12000

Guys i did talk to Chris about buying the car as a driver for me but bought a G8 GT instead.

Very nice, what color? The Marauder will hold me over for a few years before I get the G8 Gxp after it depreciates a bit.

12k for a clean MM seems like a good deal to me. If you look around and see some of the higher mileage ones with well over 100k on them and running strong.

Stupid move but i got the black well i didnt buy it dad did but it will be a nice car for the collection. I never drive the marauder's or the Impala's so with this G8 having a 6.0 it will be fun to drive during the week so i can hold off on driving the MM or the truck all the time. Ill prolly drive the G8 till about 30000-40000 then put her away. Like i say though guys I think Chris will treat you well and its a good price for a car.

Hey all-

The Marauder sold Yesterday, 7-21. I called just now as a large tree murdered my mint Grand Marquis.

Not that everyone is as interested as me, but there you go...:dunno:

Are you saying that you would own a Marauder if it was the same payment as a MGM? Interesting.

a_d_a_m
07-22-2008, 07:19 PM
yes. i'm saying that instead of making the 22 remaining payments on the MGM at my current payment, i woulda gladly taken on a new loan (48 or 60 payments) to upgrade to a marauder.

triple the amount of payments?

I think you can get a better deal than that. Just save your pennies and you will find a cheap...er...inexpensive one soon.
