The first wait is over, the second one begins! :shake:

My new Eaton Trilogy kit has arrived from Jerry's shop, and is awaiting install in Bend, Oregon. Unfortunately, my Marauder and I are now back in Canada!! I'm trying to zip back down there for the install in late July, but I may be able to get there sooner if I can adjust my work schedule a bit...ok...a lot.( I just missed the first planned install dates because of butt-dragging from FRPP in sending Jerry kit pieces he needed.)

It's a 9.5-10 hour drive, so I figure I'll need to take at least 4 days off. (2 travel days, 2 install days) Let's call it a week off, and add a weekend for good measure. Not a big deal usually, but I just spent 10 days there at the start of this month, and my wife is 4.5 months along in her pregnancy. "Stooges" and "RC_Signals" beware! You may get unexpectedly frantic technical help calls if I get the chance to pop down and do a commando-style install with a friend!
Thanks to Jerry for kicking some butt at FRPP, and Tony for handling all my emails with patience and care.

If only I could clone myself......

Trilogy does not necessarily mean poor gas mileage, if you can control yourself.
I got 14.79 on the last tank, that was with nine passes at the drag strip.

I beleive it was about $200 to get it shipped by UPS from Jerry's place(Detroit) to Oregon (my friend's ranch).

If you were to order it from Trilogy and get it sent directly into Canada, you'd have to pay:
1) GST. (5%)
2) PST. (6% here in BC)
3) Customs brokerage fees. (est $150-$200)
4) UPS shipping.

There is no duty on car parts so long as they were made (or assembled) on the North American continent.

Congrats from #105

I advise against Commando installs tho! Slow and deliberate is my motto!

Yeah, I guess the commando part is the rapid drive down and back, I have no desire or intention to rush the job!:)
