Maybe someone had already did this Poll, but personally I am curious now that we have over 1000 members. What is the majority age group or groups that owns and attracts to the Marauder? So pls share your info!

So far so Good! Thx everyone, and lets keep this poll going since only 36 Owner/voters voted! I know we probably have about a good 500 owners on this site and the end answer will be quite interesting and so far this is a lot younger crowd then I expected!!!

34 and I care for comfort at this time in my life. Don't care about what others think of my "cop car" which they call her. It's fast, comfortable - not that I am big, just 5'11" and 155 lbs., and easy to drive - being automatic and having good visibility. Just disappointed I didn't get a car like this sooner. I bought Z28s instead of Impalla SSs in the mid 90s and even missed out on the Chevy Monte Carlo SS/ Old hurst - 442 models in the mid 80s. Don't realize whats out there till they're gone.

48 and loving my Marauder. Bought it for my graduation. AAS degree~~~ second career after 26 yrs. early retirement from 1st career.
Husband and I share the same mail, have network computer at the house. He is 52 and he bought his own Marauder after I got mine. So we are a two Marauder family. His is called M2, and mine is called M1, or red for color of his Marauder letters, and silver for my Marauder letters color. We have realized that anything we ever really loved, we got 2 of if at all possible, so we guess the Marauders fit into that category!!

Interesting cross section of ages and occupations. I am going to be 59 next March. Ya know its hell being 18 and trapped in a 59 yr old body. Have had fun for a bunch of years with high performance vehicles. Cars, Trucks, Jeeps, Motorcycles, F-1 radio controlled airplanes, Boats with South Carolina tune-ups, I have met great folks in all of these sports. And now yous guys. I am really looking forward to Marauderville 04.

My dad is 77, probably going to change vehicles soon. I am going to take him somewhere on a quiet Sunday morning for a test drive in the Marauder. Trying to pull him out of Minivan Madness. At one time when I was a kid, he had a 67(?) Plymouth GTX with 440 V8 and Holley four-barrel. Sadly, it was stolen long before I was old enough to drive. You are never too old to burn rubber !

Why the first bracket says "16 - 25 Years Old Greeny "
Because 5+ years ago when this poll was started, there were only a small handful of 16-25 year old original owners. The shape of the curve was a more normal bell shaped distribution. The number of younger owners has increased significantly as the cars become more affordable on the secondary market. The rest of us are slowly moving toward the end of the curve where Maury is. Hope that I am as YOUNG as he is when I get there.

Just an update , since I haven't made the last 3 MV'ills. Still having a ball--Ginny and I will celebrate our 56th anniversary in January--all kids, grandkids and our great-grandaughter (now 5 years old) are all healthy and happy. Had to have a pacemaker installed --- ignition wires just wore out. Feel 10 years younger and enjoying every day. Spent the summer showing my '69 Barracuda--picked up a few trophies--going to do my first dragging Sunday after a 3 year drouth--it'll only be a 1/8 mile track, so no spectacular results expected. Those who know me know I occasionally get a warped sense of humor----I'll be racing for the Cow Town Mopar Performance Racing Team--through my membership with the Barracuda. They are heading for their 7th year as the top team in this area and needed another racer for their last race of the series--so they asked me to bring the Marauder. Well, I can't leave well enough alone, so-----Mopar is handing out a bumper sticker that says " Of course, it has a Hemi " with the ram's head logo in red. Mine reads the same , but the Mercury god's head logo completely covers their logo. I wonder what reaction I will get:) Hope I don't embarrass myself. I'll have some pics which I'll post later.
You want to know my secret for a long life???
Well, live every day to it's fullest
It's easier to laugh than to cry
Respect your fellow man
Love your wife and kids--they are God's gift
Try to take care of your health--I'm no health nut--but some things are not good for you--avoid them
Have a good Doctor on your list of friends--saved my life twice
I was blessed with a job I loved to do--went to work every day anticipating what new adventure I would have that day.
When you retire--be busier than you ever were when you were working
Have as many true friends as you can--they are worth their weight in gold
HAVE A HOBBY!!!!
I could probably go on all nite, but I will say I have been blessed in many ways--wonderful wife, kids that gave me no serious problems and who are all successful in their chosen fields and I talk to all the kids every day--no conflicts, no pettiness--Its a wonderful world.
I hope that all of you are as healthy, happy and satisfied as we are on your 80th birthday.

DRIVE SAFELY, BUT WITH GUSTO Maury and Ginny

That little + sign at the end is a real saver. I'm guessing that this is "actual age" not "maturity age" because it only starts at 16.
