Well went down the shore for the 3 day weekend. The car ran great the whole time down there. It was running nice and smooth, with no problems. On the way back home, I had to stop over and get gas..A hour later into the trip, after getting gas, I noticed the car was running rough :mad2: The engine comes on , I knew right away what the error was, misfire in cylinder #8 ..All the time I thought it was either the plugs or the coil packs. I couldn't believe it. It is so annoying.

Clue us in, what brand/station? Recommend you change your fuel fuel filter after you run out the bad gas. Could it be water contamination, I've run into that?

I wonder if this "bad gas" phenomena is associated with Northern tier of states. All the reports I've read about bad gas has been associated with the states north of the Mason Dixon line.

But I'm thinking that's where the winter blend/summer blend change over occurs. Hum-mm. I don't think that occurs down here in the deep south, but I may be wrong.

I already changed the fuel filter not to long ago. And you could be right, about the winter / summer blend. I'll see what happens during the summer. I stopped over on the Parkway, at a LukOil gas station.

LukOIL had a problem on the Garden State about two weeks ago.
Numerous vehicles were towed. possibly water in the gas.:(
