Has anyone every had the worry of detonation while running S/C'd in high air temperatures. I guess a friend claims that the Ford Lightin has the potential to do this when running hard in hot air temps (90 and above). Are s/c'd marauders a potential victim for this occurance also???

It should be more proned in cool temps , not warmer, in equal boost amounts , at least i think..

The key to detonation with S/C'ed MM's is the IAT's...
The hotter it gets...the more prone you are for the Big "D"...

I have a ProCharger and have seen IAT's above 145* and never had a problem.....I think??
My tune is conservative at 91 octane......I run 93 octane Shell with upper cylinder lube and a small amount of an octane improver I sell (very little sold actually) which gives me peace of mind when she's screaming above 6000 RPM's!!
