Can someone please tell me if Mercury offered the factory rear spoiler on the 2003 300A models? Mine is a early 300A, pondering the spoiler but will not get it if the early models where not offerd with it. If they where, any hints on where I may be able to get one would help. Also, after 3 hour trip to Michigan this past weekend, driver side headlight letting in moisture, clouded up bad. Rock must of cought it or somthing. Dealer tells me a VERY common problem with Ford and for some reason especially the Maurader. Any tips on where to find repalcements cheap also handy. Thanks everyone.

The spoiler was not available as a factory option, but a dealer option. The spoiler for our 2003 300A was ordered from our local Merc dealer and self (RF Overlord) installed. Try your local Merc. dealer or our member, Ray, screen name "TheDealer".

Spoilers were only a dealer install option ,But there are links on here to find one.
That's if you want to drill two holes in the trunk.

Do you have a warranty on the car that would cover the head light issue

Thanks guys. I will try to get the headlights through the warranty. I made the mistake with the spoiler. I knew it was a dealer option. My question is where the spoilers available through the dealer from day one? My production number is 860, so it is one of the first. I thought the spoiler was not available until the 03 300B models came out? Correct me if Im wrong.

As for the headlight, repops are available on ebay but the quality isn't up to the OEM standards.

:canada:Actually, I think it is more like four holes. I self installed mine 4 years ago. I got over the idea of drilling holes. It looks great and has held up quite well. Zero problems.
Go for it.

Would the warranty cover the headlight issue? I was under the impression that they would only replace the headlight if had water in it, not just moisture.

This is a Marauder, NOT a Honda.
Why put a spoiler on it?

Why put a spoiler on it?He's only talking the little OEM spoiler, not one of those retarded 3-stage bookshelves ricers are so fond of...

I think that little wing is the perfect touch on the hiney of this Beast of Speed...a little understated touch of accessorizing that I can definitely live with!

Hi,
I just ordered a rear spoiler from the local Mercury dealership here. Received it in less than a week. It came in primer, cost $261.80 before taxes. Comes with all hardware and detailed 10 page instructions and mounting templates. Part number 2W7Z-5444210-AAA. Hope this helps. Tim

Couldn't you have just ordered it painted? I asked for it in black and that's how I got it.

Greetings,
FWIW, the original spoilers that came painted in your choice of colors, were badly abraided in shipping in the boxes and needed touchup/repainting. Most people here from several years ago went the Primer only route. That's how I bought my 2.

Hi, I have a silver birch Marauder and the dealership didn't have it in silver birch. Had to go to the local paint shop to match the color for me. Tim

I believe it was only the black that could be ordered pre-painted.
