How is everyone determining when their MM was born?

Look for the blue tag on the drivers side door . It shows the
Manufactured date...

As a matter of fact my Marauder just celebrated her 1st birthday yesterday, 8-20-02. The cake and ice cream were great!

Door sticker will give you month and year, window invoice will give you production date. If you don't have the window invoice anymore, next time it's in for service ask the advisor. Even if it's not in for service, stop by and they should tell you off the VIN number. They can run it up on thier computer and tell you.

Well, the date on the car isn't the actual "born" date. That you have to get through the OASIS system. Your dealer can tell you, or someone here who works at a dealership or for Ford should be able to

The simpliest method is to contact 'jefferson-mo' here on the board--PM him with your car's VIN # and he'll give you all the data you need..He has done this for many members here on the board...Tom

Thanks guys. I had previously looked at the door sticker which shows 06/02 and had looked at the window sticker, which was in the gloove box when I got the car, it says 06/19/02. Also the dealers invoice has 06/19/02 in the date invoice prepaired box. Since I ordered the car March 1, 2002 I thought that it should have been built before 6/19/02. They must have shipped it thru the Panama Canal because I didn't get my baby until July 19, 2002. Oh well, I was close to, if not the first one in the Tacoma/Seattle area to have a Marauder.

06/19/02 will be the date the production documents were prepared for the car. The actual build date will be later, which would explain why you received your car later than you thought it should be had the build date been 06/19/02
