Supercharger concept questions

In considering a supercharger it seems to me that one major question would airflow at rpm. Is there a chart comparing the different types of supercharger at different speeds? I realize that there are many other considerations and I can imagine that I may want an installation that doesn't use the perfect supercharger unit if the install is better or I feel better about the shop. I'm in the earliest stages of decision making and am trying to get all of the info I can.
