I am thinking about buying a Marauder with a bad motor, owner says he lost oil pressure and locked up the motor, now wondering on a price to get the motor rebuilt? Possible forged internals for a blower down the road, worse comes to worse how much can a decent rebuild cost? $2-4k?

Find another motor. The bearing journals on the heads go first.

Plan on around 3-4k just for the shortblock.
Then another $500 to get the heads done, 300 for a good oil pump and another 500 to assemble the entire engine. Then add on any small costs you didnt plan for.
