HELP - How much gear oil do I need?

I have all the parts to change my gears to a 4.10, but I didn't know how much Royal Purple to buy. How much do I need?

Go with Redline fluid and you won't need friction modifier. I believe it's 75w140.

I needed friction modifier w/ redline or I got horrible chatter. If your clutches are fresh, I would use the ford racing modifier w/ any of the fluids if they very well may chatter w/o it.

Remember that you might need slightly more gear lube if you have a differential girdle to replace the factory stamped metal cover.
