More of a Question than a post, but
Is there any suggestions for a complete audio solution for a Marauder.
Not specificly saying go speak with John or some such thing but suggestions on what to use or do for audio bliss.
I would like to install a Sony SACD display 2 din unit, John does not sell these, with excellent speakers, I'm wondering about speaker wires, is there a difference? and then there is that Fatmat stuff or other sound deadening stuff.
Any thoughts on this?
Headrest monitors or wireless in car monitors etc...
GPS and Camera units, possible wireless gps that display to a video headunit, but that a navigator/passenger can control from a sperate display or a DVD unit that said passenger can view without distracting the driver...

Not sure what you have in mind, but check out this website: <www.mp3car.com> and go to their forum.

Wires will always make a difference on your system. I worked for five years in an high end audio shop. I always use Analyisis Plus wires in my car and I use US Amps Tube amps. Speakers can make a huge difference in what you hear. what you will want to do is listen to the speakers. specs mean very little in speakers, there is no real standard. so bring you own music and spend some time listening. If a shop wont let you listen, then you should go to another shop...

Their are a few companys that make prebuilt headrests for our cars.. I believe Myron & Davis makes complete ones, you just pull out your headrest and install the new ones with built in tvs. kind of cool, I am thinking about doing it in mine.

Heres a complete Solution:
1. Head Unit You Specified/or a Pioneer Z3 Headunit
2. JL Audio 450/4 Speaker Amplifier
3. JL Audio 1000/1 Sub Amplifier
4. Focal K2 Power Series Front Seperates
5. Focal Polykevlar 6x9's in rear
6. JL Audio 10w7 Subs in Trunk(two or three or FOUR) on package shelf
7. Dynamat all over the vehicle
8. Wires matter little imo just get decent stuff, I have used it all and found little diffeence. Most of it is just rebadged with company logos.
9. Custom mount headrest monitors if you wish but your marauder parts are limited supply...
10. Guest can view tv on sunvisor mount lcd or your head unit in the dash
HOPE THIS HELPS

I use quite a bit of sound deadning. Stinger Road Kill Expert bulk pack in the doors, Cascade VB3 pad under the carpet and about to use another Expert bulk pack in the trunk. If you are thinking SACD then you should already know that the more sound deadning you use, the easier it will be for your equipment to maintain an acceptable volume level.
All good info guys! Please check with me befors buying as a lot of products are available here.
John is the man! If he aint got it then you dont need it. :pimp:
