Looking at buying a Marauder, Have questions about Mods.

Hello all,

I am going to go look at a Marauder tomorrow. I have some questions about the Mod's that I can do to them. From what I understand the engine is just a cobra engine with the air intake on the reverse side correct? my current toy is a 99 Cobra with a Vortech so if the differences are small I will have no problems with this engine. My knees are getting to the point I am going to have to give up manual transmissions. I already own a 2002 Crown Vic Sport so am I going to be able to tell alot of difference in ride and handeling? From the reviews I have read it seems some people feel a difference some do not. I have been checking out your site here and have read some great posts looks like a good place for information. I see some poeple are already going with the superchargers has anyone looked at Turbo's for this car? I was in the process of converting my Cobra over to a single turbo setup. I think I will stop with the questions now. Thanks in advance for any help that you can offer.

From "30,000 ft. yes, it is similar...but there are several differences that I'll let others that know more respond to.

No comparison. It's like night and day the difference. This car has a complete redesign of the suspension. Add an Eibach front spring kit to lower it and beefy swaybar and it handles like a sports car.

Nope. All are going with Superchargers. There are 4 to choose from right now.

Plenty of info here on available mods. Check out the "FAQ" at the top ^, use the "Search Box" in the upper left-hand corner to search for specific mods by name...and look at folks sigs here...a lot of them list what they've done to their cars.

Let us know how the test-drive goes...and don't pay over $28K.
