So to get the most out of our Marauders we need to SC or turbo them.

But

What are our NA options and how do they compliment a SC or turbo?
(not in any particular order)
1. Tune
2. Headers
3. Exhaust, Cats, Mufflers...
4. Torque Converter improvement
5. Gears 4.10 ...
6. CAI
7. Water Meth
8. Improved sway bars
9. Chassis thingies (Zack and Dennis sell them)
10. Tires (depends on use)
11. Strut Bars
12. MAF upgrade (I don't know if it makes a difference when NA)

What else?

Don't forget the T/B!

You will need a re-tune if you go S/C, turbo, headers and exhaust in general will help on forced induction applications, your chassis thingies (control arms) help and I'm glad I did them along with f/r sway bars. That's just handling improvement. MAF won't matter I don't think unless your blown, gears and converter will compliment a blower as well, although I know some people just wish they did gears and a blower and minus the T/C.

OK I'll bite, what's the purpose for the "water Meth" on a NA Marauder?

Lose some weight ... like hot-rodders of yesterday did: Take out the AC, take out the multi-speaker stereo, take out the passenger and rear seats, take out the spare tire, remove the air-bags, etc.

I kid, of course -- but I have an old car that only weighs 3,300 lbs, and I daydream how it would perform with that high-reving 4.6L under the hood! :)

Panthers don't have shock towers so strut bars aren't in existance. Don't forget cams porting andstroking the motor

Useless on a mod motor unless you're blown.

why exactly would cams be useless on a mod motor?

If you really want to know about going fast n/a with a mod motor. al papitto of boss330 builds some wicked stuff.

We drive Fords, not Chevy's. Think about it, how many Cobra's/L's do you see with cam swaps? And if so, it would be for another Ford product Cam (I.E GT supercar cams) and no aftermarket performance ones.

Water Meth works great on a SC/turbo motor, if you do not want to run an Intercooler, but it also on a high reving, Marauder like, V8, can make a bunch of Power without the SC/turbo. Not as good as with a blower, but pretty good still.

Good for raising the octane levels, much much more than cans of octane boost, can be setup to make better MPG, and can allow the use of lower octane fuel hile still giving much higher octane results. It also cleans the carbon out of your engine and can run off of car wiper anti freeze fluid.

Meth increases octane, allowing you to advance timing... it is also a very good safe guard, especially in hot weather... as it cools the charge and lowers IATs

another great source is alkycontrol... (theyre one of my sponsors) they are out of Florida... www.alkycontrol.com

Don't we have shock towers up front?

What is cam porting and stroking the motor?
(sounds almost buddhist)

There are quite a few aftermarket cams for Modular motors...

I like how my Crower cams work in my DOHC...12.9s...N/A......:D

Are cams a cost effective mod on a N/A DOHC????.....No.

My panther has shock towers, maybe not as tall as the rice burners, but it is an integral part of the aluminum front end.

Along with the high flow Stewart water pump, for shame.
