I'm quite sure it can be done, but you won't be able to close the hood. Marauder Eatons are of a lower profile.

The blower profile is not your only concern. Plumbing, Alternator relocation, heat exchanger brackets, intake manifold adaptor, extended blower snout, blower upper pulley, crank lower pulley, to name some of the components. Purchase a kit, it easier then re-inventing the wheel.

I think there is a guy in the Miami area that has put a lightning motor into a crown vic. He had to cut a big hole in his hood, and you see lots of metal stickin out

Won't fit. Lightning is a 2V.

Maybe you could do it with a Cobra blower, but still gotta deal with the problems Merc mentioned.

Don't be cheap. Buy a Marauder blower and get it done right the first time.

If you have the funds and know how, by all means go right ahead, but like they all mentioned, it's easier to buy one that's already made up for the Marauder.

he's talking about the lightnings M112, not the entire motor

The blower wont fit w/o signifigant modifications, Pauls high performance put a cobra motor with M112 in , but they had to lower the motor down 2-3" for it to clear the wiper cowl.

The Trilogy is a M112 also...

The lightning blower snout is a different length than the Cobra one, so pulley alignment is gonna be a project in itself. The lightning blower inlet is also going to interfere with the wipers. Not sure, but I assume the lightning and cobra blowers mount to the manifold the same. The lightning manifold won't fit the 4V motor.

Yes it is, but it is a special part which has a flange at the back for a bolt-on plenum instead of an integral plenum like the Cobra and Lightning blowers.

Now that the Trilogy twin screw is released, you will find a Eaton (gen I) kit for sale.

If it it in my price range, I'd buy a used one.

Dare to be different. I would probably start off with a Cobra Eaton blower though cause of the snout length being different just puts the brakes on the project right there.
