just thought i'd pass it on 15.07@94 with a 2.4 short time. 65degees.bone stock with the silencer removed and 3200 miles

GREAT!!

Is the silancer in the Exhaust? Is it easy to remove?

hey cutt, did you get any wheel spin or is the 2.4 in the torque converter/gearing issues? have you considered coming to SSHS2? keep hitting it..with that weather and room to improve on your 60' you should easily be in the 14.s. glad tohear more of you going to the track! rock on, rus

the silencer is in the airflow hose to the intake.it protrudes out of the air intake hose.and yes it was spinning to a 2.4 short time i think i can get 2.2 that would drop me to a 14.80 bone stock!

So that thing hanging off the side of the intake hose between the airbox and throttle body is a silencer?Does it protrude into the Air inlet too?

that is it and it doesn't protrude in air flow.

15 flat @ 94 for a 4300 lb car is pretty quick. Quicker than my IROC-Z.
Looks like performance picks up greatly as the engine breaks in.
