ok I was on a long trip stopped at a gas station to get gas all they had was 90 octane uggh so I go inside to get a bottle of octane booster stuff nope nothing the closest thing was lucas injector cleaner and upper cyl lube product so i got that wow picked up power and about 3 mpgs! just thought I would share this info small bottle for one tanks about 4 bucks big bottle for 5 tanksfull about 10 this stuff works try it out.

A waste of money. Next time that happens, just put 89 or whatever you can find and just don't mat it. No offense.

You can simply add 5-6 ounces of 30 weight motor oil to 10 gallons and do two things.....get better upper cylinder lubrication and slow the burn rate a bit with the long chain oil molecules (effectively raising octane and lowering detonation potential)!!!:bows:

The reason you got more pep and better mileage (??) is you effectively "Advanced" your timing by lowering octane...always gives more "umph" as long as you stay away from WOT!!!:eek:

I sell a ton of Lucas stuff in our store. I guess I'll try one and see, much cheaper by the quart though.
