Taking the MM on 10 day road trip with my daughter. Picked up a nail in NC on rear. Stopped to get it patched as we have a long way to go. Have a full size spare for front. Been about two hours now waiting at a Dunkin Donuts. Man it is about a hundred degrees outside here.

I feel for ya, I just got off the phone with my mother up in Rocky Mount NC. and was told as you stated that it's 100 degrees up there. So hurry up and get that tire fixed and get back down here where it's cooler...87 degrees in Ft. Lauderdale. Drive Safe.

At least yours is an easy fix. I took out a deer 25 miles from home this morning going to the Carlisle event. Needless to say that ruined what would have been a great time. :( Ya, its hot even here in the hills, 91 right now. We only see a handful of really hot days a year. Its real early for this type of heat here.

yeah Mass. is cooking right now too.
i know us New Englanders complain about it being 88* but lets be honest, our hummidity is crazy. I am from nebraska where 100* is nothing, and MA still feels hotter.
+1 on the Dunkies. Gotta get an Ice Coffee myself

Ray,
Man, that sucks! How bad is the car messed up? I'm assuming front end damage, hopefully covered by insurance?

Sorry Ray and Jeff. I hope you both get along okay!

I'm already setup for a bodyshop and rental on Tuesday. After taking a closer look its worse than I thought. The hood is pushed back to the point that it messed up both fenders. Just hoping the radiator holds up on the drive to Syracuse Tuesday morning.

So sorry to hear about your incident, on the way to a good time. Good it kept you from suffering any physical effects. Hopefully the shop can fix her up good as new.

Thanks for the sentiment. I'm sure the car will be good as new. The impact was nothing really. The car absorbed it and we were unscathed.

Only beer and iced tea should be cold for me. It has been around 92 to 95 everyday the last week here in sunny Fla.
