I know some of you have emergency lights behind the grill... looking for some install tips before I install mine! I also just ordered an alternating headlight kit... I am a firefighter and have all the necessary permission so I would like to know how you guys fastened you lights behind the grill.... Thanks in advance

Though you can hardly see, the LED lights that are in the grill of my old truck... these are what I want to put in the marauder behind the grill... is it easier to mount to the top of the grill or the bottom? thanks again

Maybe somebody has pics of an FHP marauder's setup?

You could probably turn them vertical since the bars are vertical too. Might be cool looking like that.

Can you take a picture of the units you have?

Given the fact that grille-mounted warning lights give off little to no off-axis warning capability, I'd say ditch the idea. Instead use suction cup mounted dual Whelen Talons and/or Whelen Slimlighters on the windshield and rear deck.

Install is easy and no holes are drilled, unlike with grille-mounted lights. Plus, they will be at eye level.

Buy a set of aftermarket Marauder corner lamps and install strobes if you feel you need additional warning lights for intersections.

That's my $0.02 :beatnik:

As long as it's not the "I'm Gay" Lite brite grille install that I have seen on this board, you're good.

I am installing wig wags as well... they just came in the mail and I am going to install them soon.... I am very electronically inclined, but I am just wondering how hard of an install it is for someone who knows what they are doing... I am guessing a couple of hours

I thought about doing wig wags but I don't think my HIDs will like that very much lol.

So, the FBI has a Marauder with a Trilogy S/C on it? Or is it privately owned?

You may be aware that more members of www.crownvic.net are current LEOs than here. You will likely have better luck talking over on CVN about this and getting some results. Do a search first before you post (as we are currently having an inter-forum n00b war).

I know off-hand that member TechnoWeenie may be able to help you quickly but there are many others too. Best of luck and stay safe when breaking intersections!
