I hate to see the car go but Im a college student and due to rising gas prices i must sell it. The car was bought from Zack in October 07 with 34,xxx. The MM has a slight engine tap. I had the crankshaft and bearings replaced due to engine knock but it still has a slight tap. There is nothing wrong with the engine block or pistons so this would be a great car to purchase if you want to rebuild the engine. The car is still being driven but only to and from work which is less than 5 miles, 3 days a week. The interior is still in immaculate condition.

What year CV are you wanting. I have an 03 with 96,000 miles. My CV is loaded as far as p71's are concerened, power seat, cruise control, carpet. Its black with tan seats.

I live down in Arizona, so no rust (car is a Texas car).

PS: If you ride street bikes I have a 06 GSXR 1000 I would be willing to work with as well. That would solve your gas problems.

If you're selling because of gas prices why are you trying to get a crown vic? Your mileage will be about the same. I have a 01 cvpi and get the same mileage out of both cars.

I meant to change it but good point. I plan on just getting my Camry from back home for my DD and maybe a bike so gas would me cheap :D

If you already have a Camry...why not just drive that and keep the MM covered up? Or if you only drive 5 miles 3 times a week to work and go to school...when are you using gas??? I say keep it, focus on school, drive the camry, then BAM...after school you should be ready to drive the MM.

What exactly is this "light tapping" and what would be involved to fix it?

I had to wonder if it isn't just an exhaust leak at the manifold but I imagine that would have already been eliminated as a cause.

Its an 300A so i bet its the drivers side head, thats not really uncommon though so i dont think will blow up or so.

Go for it
