Specs:
Rearend- SVO 4.30 gears, Moser 31-spline axles, Detroit TrueTrac torsen differential, FMS axle girdle & stud kit

I'll be pulling the axles in my Marauder soon and I need the part numbers for the wheel bearings and seals.

What gear oil, as in weight is recommended?

Is there anything else I'll need for reassembly?

Thanks in advance.

Steve, Timken bearings were provided as part of the Moser axle group buy. I can't remember where the seals came from or if they came with with the bearings, but nothing special about them from what I remember. The diff lube was standard Motorcraft synthetic 75W-140 (without friction modifier since the Trutrac doesn't need it).

Did you need the 4.30 gears too? I happen to have a set in stock!

JD, thanks again for coming through and bringing me up to speed on the Merc and what all has been done to her.

I picked up seals and bearings at Napa. Weather cooperating, she'll be back at 100% this weekend.

In the meantime, she cleaned up at another car show this weekend. Pics to come.

My gears should be fine, but thank you. I did let some other local Marauder owners know about them.

Also, I finally picked up the axles on Sat. I forgot how heavy they are.

Thanks again. I am very appreciative.

No problem. The off the shelf stuff will work fine since the Moser axles were dimensioned to OEM specs.

Does anyone have these specs. I need 2 new axles but am having a hard time just staying stock. I was wondering if it would be possible to get a heavy duty version of the 28 spline axles? Not sure if I can afford to do it all at once (diff and axles) (or should I say if the wife will let me). I know that the stocks are fine but I want boost in a year or so and have learned from past projects to build from the back forward.
