Well......I figgered at 172K miles I'd better put new brakes on and I was surprised at how much of the old pads were still left!!!:beer::bows:

The old brakes worked fine but I knew that new ones would be a smart move with so many miles on the car!!

Below are some pix of the old ones....old rears.....new rear....and old fronts!!

That is incredible!, @ 62K, I need brakes for the fourth time on the fronts, third for the rears .The backs look like ca -ca too!
That drag racing is tough on rotors.

I can't believe you have 172k on her, and still have the same motor. That's awesome.

Just did the same to mine after 206,000 km! They where original but the Salt up here at away at the Parking brake set up and the rotor/caliper looked like ****.

Replaced everything and it looks factory new now! Bet your happy with the look of the rear brake assembly:)

Yep.....the new brakes look good for now but a month down the road they will return to "Normal"!!!

Other than the pedal being a bit higher and lighter (brakes a bit faster) feeling I really don't notice much difference??

Glad I went ahead and got the new ones on!!
