Yea!!! I got my car back from the shop. My head did not like my spark plug and spit it out. So for several weeks I had looked all over East Texas for someone to put a steel helicoil in my head and no one wanted to touch the car. I finally found someone who would but they had to order the tool to do it directly from Ford. So another 2 1/2 weeks of waiting, then when it did arrive I had to wait for an open spot in the schedule, so I towed my car up there so they could get it in early in case of a cancellation, then waited another week, (they actually fixed it the next day but wanted to drive it to make sure things were fixed right). 6 weeks and $800.00 dollars later I am happy to report that things seem to be in good working order. According to one of the members here they said that it was an easy fix.:depress::rolleyes: The fix itself according to "Engine Express" in Tyler Texas was very easy, it was getting the passenger side valve cover off. They said they had to loosen up the engine and transmission mounts and lower the engine so they could get the valve cover completely off. They said the actual fix only took 20 min. The owner of the shop has an emplyee with a 2 valve Lightning that had the same problem, he said it would not be a problem to do with the right jig. Alls well that ends well. I have my "Car" back, and I am happy.

Go romp on it some more!

I had to RAISE the right side of the engine when swapping out cam covers.

It would not have been so bad, my dad even let me borrow his old 93 F-150. What I did'nt like about the whole situation was his truck although a godsend has power windows which didn't work, has air conditioning that does not work and I live here in East Texas. I work a long 10 hour day and the inside of the truck just gets to dadgum hot to be in it for any length of time. But I survived and got my car back. Like I said I am now a happy camper.:D
