I bet Jake is!

Seriously, I was talking with the Curry's folks yesterday (www.currysauto.com/) while they were working on my Marauder. They said that they'd be willing to open on a Saturday and let us do Dyno pulls, if we paid for the tech to be there to run the dyno (it's an in-floor Mustang, I think). Something like $100-$200 for the day, no matter how many cars show up during the allotted time.

Should I try to schedule something? Anybody interested? I'm talking to the guys in the Dulles shop.

Nope, maybe next time. I had some work done at their shop. They are big into road racing (VIR).

This sounds like it may be a cool way to get the CAM members together... Any thoughts?

I would like to do this and have it recorded for youtube.

Wow, $200 a day is a bargain! Would this include A/F ratio monitoring so no engine will be run too lean? What date do you have in mind?

I would be interested if they did AFR and printouts.

If I can make it DOOM I will be recording everyone.

Vids from when I was at a dyno day before.

If we can agree on some sort of Saturday and paid the tech fee (I guessed $200, I'll need to get more specific; we probably ought to buy him lunch, too, since he's stuck there all day) I'll set it up. Figure 0800-1700, with as many cars as we can run through it.

REMEMBER: this is a Mustang Dyno, not a DynoJet. That means it will read a little lower than the DynoJet does. Just a characteristic of the hardware.

What about August 2? I can see if that's a possibility.

August 2nd would work for me... I think this would be fun and I'm curious to see who CAMs "King of the Hill" is...

"King of the Hill" is...

That's easy to figure out. Mark (N40GL) would be the winner of that dyno contest.

Maybe not - Jake (Dr. Doom) has a new Trilogy, and it's polished. We all know that polished is good for 10-15 HP!

I'll see about August 2. Stay tuned.
