Just ordered the JLT CAI for the price you cant beat it. I am holding off on the 4.10's gas being what it is. Any suggestions on next mod?
I have Lidio's Tune, 40 series flows and JLT CAI.

How bout exhaust? Long tube headers and xpipe? Thats what I'd be doing if there wasn't a baby on the way...

I would get the 4:10's one of the best bang for the buck mods IMO, there was no noticable differance in MPG's with my 4:10's, they work awesome with lidios tune

I commute 60 miles a day and am a little concerned about any milage loss. Ive read as low as 1mpg and as high as 3mpg. Although options are running out for performance mods in Cali, I may consider them in the future.

It wasn't hard to do the spacer,A friend & I did the Install. It was more time consuming cleaning the carboned up intake. You can use the same gasket on bottom & the new one that comes with it on the top .The PHP Spacer was from Reinhart for $100.:)
I Noticed the RPM at idle was about 100 more & there is a faster responce & revs a little higher RPM with the Spacer ,JLT & coil connectors because the throttle body & intake have no restrictons.:burnout:

Next to arrange and install all the other listed parts which a friend & I with local mechanic we know will do soon.

You'll love the JLT. With the Lidio Tune and 4.10's it gave me a consistent 1-2 bark (even at half to three-quarter throtte) and the sound is the sweetest music.
How do you like the 40 series Flowmasters? The previous owner of mine stuck a set of 3 chamber (30 series?) Flowmasters on mine and it is pretty tame (too tame for my tastes).

I'm a big fan of the Lidio Tune and the 4.10's. The Lidio Tune was the first thing I installed (with the factory 3.55's). Increased power was noticeable but not overwhelming. However, the revised behavior of the transmission was worth every penny (no more indecisive gear selection and wondering if the car would downshift at WOT). Next came the 4.10 gears which worked great with the Lidio 93 octane 4.10 tune. Now, I could really feel a seat of the pants difference. But my favorite mod was the JLT. With the combo of Lidio's computer magic and the right set of sprockets and then a JLT breather instead of that factory snorkel .... it came to life. The car pulled much harder and sounded like I dropped a set of dual quad carbureators under the hood (it sounds like big ole quadrajet secondaries coming to life). The combo has made her much more fun to live with .... pulleys and exhaust are on the agenda (probably pulleys first). But there's no hurry.

I still have the underdrive pulleys to install too with the Kooks system & 410s with the Xcal 2
I always enter the MM at local car shows here & all the Ford guys here didn't know what a JLT,Kooks,Xcal2,Lidio or Reinhart or evan what a Marauder is.But most were asking a lot about was "What is a JLT"
& one of the guys was the "Mustang Ford Club president"
:D
Apparently what the ford club did is they flew a tech guy from Texas to tune all the member stangs.
But I think the Lidio or Reinhart tunes are far more superior :D

I like them, the previous owner put them on and they sound nice. No drone in the interioe; although I was used to the single chamber flow on my mustang:D I was thinking of some Corsa's down the line. Looks like UD pullies and PHP spacers are the next mod.

When you do the UD's it wouldn't be a bad idea to do the Stewart EMP water pump at the same time, just a suggestion

Install DONE. Small problem, JLT shipped the wrong PVC tube 3/4" vs 5/8". Other than that the install went smooth and very happy with this mod. EASY to install, didnt even read the directions until connecting the PVC tube and referencing tools needed. Like everyone that has one stated "the sound from going WOT" is worth the mod itself! Only took her around the block so no SOTP analysis yet.
Great product and highly recommended mod.

My 4.10 gear mod dropped my E.T. from 14.97 to 14.51 with negligable mileage difference.;)

What is negliable? 19MPG to 18MPG so 1 MPG difference or? With a 19.5 gallong tank 1MPG is 19.5 +/- difference and factors into my decision. So far on I have read as low as 1 MPG to 2-3 MPG many factors play into this.
