Like the title states, I am about to buy some 4.10's, so what do I need to know? I know the rear is 8.8 but I cant just go out and buy any 4.10s for the 8.8 right? Any info and links would be appreciated. Thanks.
Ford gears for 8.8. You pick the brand.

Don't forget you'll want a tune for the PCM to adjust for the new ratio, otherwise your speedo will be off.

Will that kit work? Comes with everything, including the cover.

If you're planning to have them dealer installed, make sure you get somebody that knows what they're doing.

Do not go to a dealer, it will cost you near $500. Go to a shop and get it done with a posi for $220.

Thanks for all the help guys.
I plan to take it to a local speed shop here that specializes in Mustangs. They did an awesome job on a friend of mines car so I know they do good work.
What do you guys think about the kit in the link I posted?

Why do they give you a new cover?
Will the old one work?
Thanks
