I just wanted to share the news that I finalized my exhaust plans yesterday... On June 30th I am dropping my car off at Exotic Exhaust in Hiram, GA to have a completely new Stainless Steel exhaust system installed by Muffrauder (Bryan, of former Grand Muffler fame) and the boys at Exotic.
They will be installing my Stainless Works long tube headers - Magnaflow High-flow spun Cats - a custom H-Pipe - Flowmaster Super 44s - and 2-1/2" over the axle pipes to 4" Megs delete tips... We have all seen Bryans work "On the Rack" and I can't wait to see the outcome. I will take as many pics as possible and I'm sure my DTR is gonna scream.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO an intake spacer I'm scared now lol.
We will def have to rematch of course when it's cooler weather lol. Hopefully I'll have my 3.90 gears in by then but I think with the way the cars are now would be pretty even so we shall see.

She's done and she's Bad-Ass... Buster and his son Matt are two of the nicest and most talented people that I have ever met. I can't say enough good things about them. The DTR sounds incredible!!! I definitely won't be sneaking up on anyone...

And now the 4" tips... Thanks Wes, they look amazing... They really fit well and look just perfect. Not to mention the sound... :D
I gotta ask, what does that cost??????

It wasn't cheap... but it was worth every penny in my mind. I've been planning and saving for a while. I feel it was best to have the whole thing done, headers to tips, at the same time instead of piece by piece...

That is the best way to do it.... all at once "headers-to-tips".
Kick ass bro! See ya at the track :burnout:

Looks good and clean. Post up a sound clip. On a side note, how wide are your back tires? They look realllllly skinny.

Thanks
That's a great setup. I can't wait to hear your car at the track. I need to make a run soon anyway.

Did the shop mandrel bend and make that H pipe or did someone else do it? The welds and bends sure are pretty. I am sure that thing will be way loud.

The system was completely hand-made... Yes, the welds and all of the bends are pretty. The pics don't do it justice. You will probably hear me before you see me. There is nothing stealth about it. It's taking some getting used to... it is LOUD.:D

he put true duals on a marauder its not a Chevy its a ford most inportantly a cobra with 4 doors it should sound like one
yes that is a good price and that should include the mendrel bending,
alumin or stainless steel, tips and mufflers not bad but if no mendrel bending keep shoping cause thats what thay should charge...

That is REALLY excellent work!
:bows:
It looks like it is all stainless except for the mufflers!
Does Bryan have his own shop now?
I still need a set of 2-1/2" over the axle pipes and to have my 4" MEGS welded on.

Are the pipes going from the mufflers to the tips UNDER the rear axles? If they are, how is the clearance when going over bumps/potholes etc. I've only seen this on one other car and that's a member on crownvic.net.

Joe, It turned out really well as you can see. I think it's a 12 on a 10 scale... This is the work of Buster and his son Matt @ Exotic Exhaust in Hiram, GA. I don't think Brian ever touched my car... You should give Buster a call @ 770-943-2153 and tell him I sent you. He is one of the nicest guys that I have met in a while and if it can be done, he can do it.

No, they go over the axles after the mufflers and there are no clearance issues what-so-ever. Even though the Cats are larger in diameter than the stockers, they are tucked up nicely and sit at the same height as the stock setup did.

From the picture it looks like the rear section of the exhaust goes under the axle. (yellow circled areas) Btw you need a driveshalf loop lol.

That's actually past the axle. If you look in the pic you can see the the sway bar and pumpkinis IN FRONT of the exhaust tubing.
