Side view mirror

Decided to wash my car today, when I realized that the shiny cover to my passenger side view mirror has gone missing. Don't know if it had something to do with the crazy weather in the midwest, maybe it flew off when I was speeding, or just maybe someone decided to go shopping and bought the cover right off my car. Looking to buy just the cover, but the shops on line want me to buy the whole sideview mirror. Trying to avoid the dealership, maybe it's my last resort. Any suggestions on where I can purchase JUST THE COVER. Thanks guys...don't really know if I wanna go to the junkyard either.:beatnik:

That sucks, try black duct tape its cheap and shiny! Just kidding but it sounds like the bone yard is your best bet. Ford is probably the whole mirror. I'm thinking about going tomorrow to the yard, if i go i'll pick one up for you if they have anything that will work. I'll call you if i find anything.

Drew, there's something your going to learn very quickly me friend and that is i can't be left with any car or even part for that manner without making it better somehow. Anyways i have your mirror cover and misteriously it got wet sanded, painted, cleared, wetsanded again and machine buffed. Is perfect ok with you or do you want me to kick it around the driveway a few times to match our fine black paint jobs? Call me whenever you want it and no you can't leave me your car, i have my own to molest. Peace brother.

Are you kidding me...WOW! :eek: Talking about going above and beyond! BOB, you caught me off guard with that one. I'll PM you about the price.
