Survey for customer satifaction on my 03 MM . Question like-
Overall satisfaction , how the car rides , any noise from the rear
end , like/dislike the interior , Paint job satifaction , Squeaky
noise in the seats or interior , quality of the sound system ,
Handling and performance , and rating on gas mileage .
He also asked me for sugestions as to how and what would
I like or reccommend for future MM to have . after telling him what
Would and should be installed , I told that it wasn't for a friend
at work I wouldn't have heard of a MM and that F/L/M droped the
Ball at marketing . To my surprise and Logan I hope your sitting
Down for this , He stated that if I want to learn more about
Mercury Marauders to go to www.MercuryMarauder.Net for FAQ's
Talk about about Popularity , the guy's name is Stanley XXXX and
Gave me a Mercury Customer Relation PH# were he works .

ADELG670,

I got the same call about a month after I bought my Marauder.
At first I thougt it was a joke, I kept asking him are you for real.

I told about the same as you did, hopefully they will take our advise next time they design a car.

We've all gotten a call from Stanley, but this is the first i've heard that he said to go to this site. I guess everyone telling him about it when he calls finaly got into his head. But he hasnt posted on this site yet.

I have never heard anything from LM and the MM is my 10th car from them. That doesn't count the Fords I have had too.
Go figure.

Wolfebros-After 9-previous LM vehicles Maybe they started this
Program for those that own the Later 03MM . I can't
be sure of this but if you want you can give Stanley a
Call and inquire about it

I got a similar call about a month after purchase. He did ask what aftermarket stuff I had installed in the car such as stereo, etc. I told him it was completly stock (just in case he reported any mods to the warranty dept.) except the Sylvania Silverstars. I also told him the bulbs I took out were made by Sylvania so they could be installed at the factory. The most interesting question was would I have paid more for a factory supercharger light the Lightening pick-up (I said yes). I mentioned that I was a member of this list and it was actually more infomative than the dealer.

Thanks but if Stanley or anybody else at LM wants my opinion they are gonna have to do the legwork.

And they wanted to know what a 'Marauder' was

I've never received a call, anything in the mail, nothing.
Maybe because when I (and someone else here) picked up our Marauders last June...it was on the day the dealership was going out of business and "proper paperwork" wasn't filed?

I know I have mentioned the site both times I have spoken to LMCS. I don't remember the guy's name who called, but I repeated the site URL several times and told them they should have at least one R+D guy and one CS rep on this board. I also mentioned what I had read about options that shold have come from the factory. (SC, gears, driveshaft, etc.)

All this was back in May/June - I am sure others mentioned it earlier than that but I suspect those of us that kept mentioning the same site convinced someone to at least look us up.

Perhaps since the MM is cancelled they chose not to ask for input from the board, but it's nice that they know we exist!

I've recv'd 2 surveys in the mail, 1 from LM, 1 from JD Powers (with a dollar!!). And I nit-pik'd everything, from lack of true muscle to the short radio volume knob. No Stanley though.

It's not size that matters....

Besides, my volume knob goes to 1111111111. :D

I got the hard-copy survey shortly after my purchase, and a follow-up phone call about a week ago.

The caller wanted to discuss the verbatim responses I had made. Tip for all those who care: the verbatims (text answers) are pretty much all that matter to the marketing-type people. The multiple-choice sections just get lumped into statistics.

She did, by the way, congratulate me on the purchase of my "Grand Marquis."

I've stopped trying to correct people, I just smile, and say "thanks." :)
