This is looking way fun, Mary!

I wonder if the Arch will let us park our cars at the base for a group photo?

Never hurts to ask!

Not likely. Since 9-11, they have installed concrete highway divider blocks to keep a nut from trying to do damage!!! But will ask! (It is part of the U.S. National Park System).

It would be a cool shot, especially from a helicopter.

If the Mississippi is down, we can line up at the bottom of the stairs . If not, there is a plaza just west of the Arch where we can get a shot of the cars, the Old Courthouse and the Arch all in one shot!

I won't be able to make it this time, but I have been to the Transportation Museum and Fast Lane. Both are worth seeing, especially with an appreciative group like a bunch of Marauders!

Haggis, are you and Ladyhawke planning to make the drive?

I'm planning to attend, don't know about Ms. CH yet.

Wife can't get the time off and what fun would it be with out the DTR? I don't think I'll have the annual leave credits either. I've had to burn quite a bit recently due to a family illness out of town. Thats also how I ended up with the yellow bomber. $700+ on gas last month made me ill

Whenever I travel to some place new, I like to learn a little about where i am going!

St. Louis was home to T.S. Eliot, Maya Angelou, Tennessee Williams, Chuck Berry, Tina Turner, Miles Davis, Albert King, David Sanborn, Michael McDonald, John Goodman, Kevin Kline, Josephine Baker, Betty Grable, Vincent Price, Buddy Ebsen, Redd Foxx, Shelly Winters, and Marsha Mason.

There will be at least four of us, three from Texas and one from Louisiana that will arrive after 6 PM on Wednesday, I'm assuming that registration will have closed by then, right? Therefore we will register early Thursday so as to participate in the museum trip.

Couple of notes on the agenda:

The Saturday car show will be held at Fast Lane Classic Cars, so we won't be going to Fast Lane on Thursday. Also, on Thursday, the picnic is at the Museum of Transportation so we'll have more time at the museum. The updated schedule will be available to all at registration and throughout the event.
