How many speeding tickets have you gotten in your Marauder and what speeds were you clocked?

I refuse to answer on grounds that it might incriminate me.

to that....so far zero, however I've only had my MM about 10 weeks now, and have merely put 3500 miles on it. But I'm really not too worried about getting any tickets in my home state cuz my brother is a cop;)
But I did get out of work today, and found that the guards where I work placed a notice on my windshield for "excessive speed" and put one of those wheel locks on:rolleyes:
So I simply went to the gaurd shack located in the parking lot, and told him, and he sent someone over to take it off. Nobody even said anything to me so I assume that all of that was for chirping second gear in front of the guard shack earlier in the day:confused:

0 ... but I haven't had my car for the past month, so that helps in the ticket dept. :depress:

He let me go with a warning. I was going 80-85mph on the Interstate. Trooper must have had a good day or already filled his quota for the month.

Therefore "0" for me in the ticket department. Hope I didn't jinx myself, by saying this.

Two warnings on I-55 on my way to ST. Louis both times doing 85. Once 18 years ago, second time 5 years ago. Same place both times. None involving my MM......yet.

None so far in the MM. (knock on wood)
66 in a 55 twice in 1984. Have had 3 warnings in Kansas and 1 in Texas.
I got to play my "MY WIFE IS IN LABOR" card 4 years ago. I must have been doing 55 in a 30 about a mile from the hospital. Motorcycle cop didn't give me an escort, he just motioned me on.
Good thing.........our daughter was born 31 minutes later.

I've been pulled over 4 times but no tickets or warnings yet. I guess the local police just want to see the car.

About a week after I got mine I was pulled over uptown one night. I knew I had not done anything but I was getting my license out when the cop walked up and said "oh you didn't do anything, I just wanted to look at you car" We stood there and talked about it for about 30 minutes.

I LOVE when that happens...I have met some of the nicest LEOs driving this car with this happening a half dozen times so far.

I love showing off the car too, but I'd be a little miffed if I was pulled over by a cop who just wanted to look at the car - especially if I had somewhere to be.

Isn't there a rule against that sort of thing?

I will be more than happy to take the car down to the station sometime so they can all take a look at it, but not when I'm on my way to work or something.

Thankfully the Iowa State Patrol is too busy with the ticket quotas to spend time on this. Especially this weekend - anyone else have radio commercials announcing their traffic enforcement programs?

None yet, but then again middle age has that way of moderating youthful exuberance. Last one was a minor one in the Impala SS, but I almost lost my licence when I had the 85 Mustang GT 5 spd. Reached 10 demerit points, all for speeding (6 points alone for 151km in an 80km zone) and at my interview the gov't guy looked at my record and said "we know what the problem is here, don't we?..."
