I'm on my way home from work, took a scoot down to a two lane private track. I spot a yellow Mach I that looked interesting.
As I squeeze along side he looks over and has no ambition what-so ever!:depress:
So, I set my sites a little further down field and much to my chagrin it's a couple in a white Cobra.
I came up side by side and smiled and said," Hi!, My Ford brother!"
He looked at me with a confused look and said, "What's in that thing?"
I replied,"It's got a early Cobra motor"
He said with delight. "That's what this is!".
I rebutted, "Yeah, but you are cast iron block, This is all aluminum."
I circled back with, "Wanna have some fun?". continuing with,"Give me a run just to 60' across the intersection!".
I got a big smile from him and he said something to his lady passenger.I figured this meant, You're on!
With that the go signal was given, and both Eatons were screaming their sweet sound.
God be my witness, I spanked that pony car like it was not fair.
I look in the rear view mirror and saw the tell tale of his soft start.
I pulled far further than need be, but it has been a couple weeks since I drove the tank.
He catches up at the next signal and says, "My Traction control!", "I forgot to turn it off!"
I got a smile on my face that you couldn't slap off!
He gives me my props here, "BUT, That thing is fast!"
Now, I got to let him chase,"Let's go again!
He may have been overruled by his better half, cause he was all done now.
