Sorry Dave, I couldn't resist. :D

This box is part of Not5-0's upcoming stereo and trunk project. It's a Memphis 15 back from when I was sponsored. The box is 13-ply oak veneer and is sealed at around 2 cubes. It fits up on the shelf and fires down and is vented to the trunk. The oak is stained black and epoxy finished to a deep shine. The front is covered with 3/4" acrylic. It is lit with 8 blue LED's and 13 amber LED's. There's a video but it was tough to get good vid due to the acrylic's reflection. This should be one bad mother when finished!

Thanx, John. I hope so. The amp you sent is PLENTY of power for this speaker. It should look really good installed and with all the trim and filler pieces.

lookin good.

gotta love memphis audio!

Are there any issues with the plexi rattling on the front of the box? I've seen/heard some of the bandpass boxes that sounds like ass when turned up because of the plexi.

Has to do with thickness vs area covered. This is 3/4". It won't bow flex or rattle. Plus it's sealed with clear adhesive. Those store-bought boxes aren't sealed.
