Just fell into a new marauder...

Hello everyone! just wanted to share a quick story about how i fell into my new marauder today! Last thursday, guy I work with asks the lunch room area if anyone knows of someone looking to buy 2003 marauder. I say, yea, me, as I have been "looking without success" for awhile now. Turns out, an elderly woman whose husband had recently passed wanted to get rid of his marauder-she told me it was his toy and that he took better care of it than he did her! She was asking 12k, I offered 10k, and we met at 10.5k. Car is bone stock 300a with 58000 miles on it. black with black leather. Pretty awesome specimen I must say! As a proud owner of a 97 cobra vert in triple black, I must confess I got more looks today driving home that marauder than any given day topless in that cobra! Seems like around here everyone is wondering, "what the hell is that?!?!" Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble on -been watchin this site for awhile now, tons of great info and lots of good people on board.

I cannot believe that women even at an advanced age still say the same thing that ALL younger women do about guys and their cars; "He took better care of the MM then he did for me". Just unreal comments on the nature of women. This board has proven in its threads that it is best NOT to discuss your MM or worse any mods and their cost with your GF or wife. Life is interesting.
